Misbehaving Max and the Styrofoam

I'm trying to turn our second bedroom into a sewing/craft/hobby room of sorts.  To that end, I ordered a set of cubbies off of Amazon--the type that are made of manufactured wood and you put together yourself.  I unpacked the pieces and assembled the cubbies in the living room specifically so that I could keep an eye on Max without bringing him within reach of my craft supplies

This is something that puppies have in common with toddlers: they are faster than you'd believe possible.  Max created this huge mess in the blink of an eye.

Something else puppies have in common with toddlers: they are ADORABLE!

I know, I know: it's dangerous for a puppy to chew up something like stryofoam because they might swallow it.  But one of the great things about Max is that after he rips something up, he spits it out! Unlike a certain...dog?....creature?...sausage-shaped extraterrestrial?...whatever....unlike that thing, Max is teething, not trying to consume everything and anything possible.

Still, I DID take the styrofoam away from Max, and even vacuumed the living room to make sure that I got every single piece....just not until after I took a few photos.  He just looked so adorable, like he was covered in snow.

One reason why Max's nickname is "Piglet" is that his ears look like Piglet's from Winnie the Pooh! The little pointy tips even flop about sometimes like Piglet's.  It's precious.
